Just passed all of the shops on Hollywood Boulevard, across from The Hollywood Brown Derby, you can find one of the very few remaining references of the park’s original name, Disney MGM Studios. To me, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is all about hearing jazz tunes and seeing Hollywood references (through architecture and signage) in such a peaceful yet exciting way-and Hollywood Boulevard encapsulates all of that. When I think of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, before I think of the park’s recent expansions and newly developed experiences, I think of entering the park and stepping into “classic Hollywood” on Hollywood Boulevard.
